Own Place Runners

If you have your own place in the 2013 race, please get in touch with our Community Fundraiser (details at the bottom of this page) to let us know that you would like to be part of our team of runners dedicated to helping to keep the Air Ambulance flying and saving lives across the county. We will arrange to send you a fundraising pack and information about the charity

Our Team

We like all of our runners to feel part not only of the Brighton Marathon team, but also of our Air Ambulance supporters’ network. To this end, we will provide all our runners, Own Place and Charity Place, with:

  • Sponsor forms and fundraising pack with all you need to help you make the most of your fundraising efforts
  • Ongoing support and advice from our fundraising team
  • Training guides
  • Air Ambulance Running Vest
  • Pre-race meeting with opportunity to meet our crew and see the helicopter (subject to emergency call outs). We hope also to repeat our 2011/12 training run.
  • Goody-bag
  • Incredibly vocal and enthusiastic cheering squads to help you along the route! Our 2010, 2011 and 2012 runners found this to be a huge help!
  • Post race reception and thank-you meeting.
