What would you do if you won the lottery? Not the National Lottery but the new Air Ambulance Superdraw.
The
new rollover lottery was launched at the beginning of September 2007 and
already hundreds of people have joined, and the countdown is on. The
first draw was on October 31st 2007 and the jackpot, if not won, grows to
£25,000.
Our
first Superdraw winner was Mrs. Hanson of Chatham, in August 2008. A
long-standing and valued supporter of the Kent Air Ambulance, she
netted herself the huge £25,000 prize!
Tickets are just £1 and to be eligible for Superdraw you have to be a member of the regular Air Ambulance lottery which has a weekly top prize value of £1,000. When joining Superdraw, choose four numbers in the range of 1-36. We will allocate these numbers uniquely to you.
Each Wednesday, our computer randomly selects four numbers within the range and, if there is no complete match with all four numbers, the jackpot fund will roll over to the following week. When the jackpot fund hits £25,000, multiple draws will be made until there is a complete match. When this happens, one member will win £25,000 - a life changing amount!
Director of Income Generation, Lynne Mitchell said 'This is very exciting. We are the first small charity to take advantage of the new gaming laws to introduce a big money prize lottery. The lotteries bring in very valuable funds to the Air Ambulance, which makes everyone who is a member, a winner'.
