Air Ambulance Promotions Ltd., 2018 Spring Draw (referred to as ‘the draw’)Terms & Conditions

1.1 The 2018 Spring Draw is a draw operated and promoted by Air Ambulance Promotions Ltd. as a society lottery under the Gambling Act 2005
1.2 Registered with the Gambling Commission, Operating Licence No. 000-004674-N-100307, PML Holder: L Harris
1.3 Air Ambulance Promotions Ltd (Registered in England & Wales No. 02674568) is a wholly owned subsidiary company of the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust (Registered Charity No. 1021367)
1.4 Registered Office: Unit 14, Wheelbarrow Park Estate, Pattenden Lane, Marden, Kent TN12 9QJ
2.1 The 2018 Spring Draw will commence on Monday 12th February 2018, and the draw will take place on Thursday 19th April 2018. The winner will be announced within three working days of the draw taking place on the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust website; www.kssairambulance.org.uk
2.2 Any monies for tickets received after the draw has taken place will be treated as a donation to the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust.
2.3 The following people may enter the 2018 Spring draw:
2.3.1 Any individual over the age of 16 years who reside in or have a bank account in the UK. By purchasing tickets, the individual confirms that they are 16 years of age or over. No tickets should be sold to, or on behalf of, a person under the age of 16 years. If a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 16, they will be excluded from the raffle and will forfeit their prize. Entry money will be returned to them.
2.4 Paid employees of the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust are not eligible to enter the draw.
2.5 The maximum amount of tickets permitted for any individual to purchase in one transaction is 200. Further entries made by an individual will be verified with the purchaser by a staff member of Air Ambulance Promotions Ltd., to fulfil our compliance to the Social Responsibility provisions set out by the Gambling Commission.
2.6 All proceeds, after the deduction of legal prizes and expenses, shall be deemed as a donation and transferred to the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust.
2.7 Any draw entry may be rejected for any reason at the discretion of the Promoter.
2.8 Any draw entry may be withdrawn for any reason at the discretion of the Promoter.
2.9 The Promoter’s decision is final in any matter regarding the draw.
3 How to Play
3.1 Each entry costs £1 per ticket. The purchaser will be entered into the draw providing payment has been received prior to the draw taking place.
3.2 Persons eligible may apply to enter the draw by completing a raffle ticket, which can be obtained from Head Office upon request, or alternatively by entering online at www.kssairambulance.org.uk/springdraw. The following will be required for entry into the draw:
- The purchaser’s name, full address, confirmation of age over 16 and payment for entry.
3.3 Funds received before the draw has taken place will be held in advance, and can be returned to a member upon request, providing the draw has not yet taken place. No refund can be given after the draw has taken place, unless as a result of our negligence.
3.4 It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure their details held by us are correct.
4 Draws & Prizes
4.1 The draw will be made manually and at random by an independent, impartial individual. The draw will be witnessed and the results recorded.
4.2 Only purchasers who have paid will be entered into the draw.
4.3 The prizes for this draw are published on the draw tickets, and on the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust website. The winner will be contacted within three working days of the draw with no requirement to claim.
4.4 Air Ambulance Promotions Ltd. reserves the right to withhold the prize if we are not satisfied as to the validity or legality of a purchaser, pending further investigation into the matter.
4.5 The prizes will be issued by cheque to the winners within 10 working days of the draw, subject to satisfaction of section 4.4. Cheques will be sent to the winners by post to the address we have recorded for them.
4.6 Should Air Ambulance Promotions Ltd. be unable to issue the prize to the winner because we do not hold their correct details, and after exhaustive investigation which may include communication with the purchaser’s last known bank, we will after a period of six months, treat the prize as a donation to the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust.
4.7 The prizes are as follows: one prize of £5,000, one prize of £1,000, one prize of £250, and five prizes of £50. The prize cannot be substituted or replaced for any alternative.
4.8 Winners’ details, in brief, may be used to promote other draws.
5.1 Air Ambulance Promotions Ltd. will not be liable to a purchaser for any loss or damage suffered to a member arising from:
5.1.1 Any delays in payments received from purchasers for entry into the lottery.
5.1.2 Any delays or failure in the postal service or other delivery methods including email used by Air Ambulance Promotions Ltd. or by purchasers.
6.1 Complaints pertaining to the draw should in the first instance be sent by post to our Head Office (see section 1.4), or by email to email@example.com. In the first instance a complaint will be dealt with by the Head of Lotteries & Gaming. Should the complaint not be satisfied at this point it will be referred to the Board of Directors of Air Ambulance Promotions Ltd. If the complaint is still not satisfied at this point, the complaint will be referred to the Independent Betting and Adjudication Service (IBAS) whose decision will be final.
7.1 These Terms & Conditions are the rules of Air Ambulance Promotions Ltd. 2018 Spring Draw. By entering the draw you agree to be bound by these rules.
8.1 Air Ambulance Promotions Ltd. is committed to protecting your privacy. Data we collect from you is used lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, and will be used solely for the purpose of the draw and the benefit of the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust. We will not pass your details to any third party without your written permission. Purchasers have the right to access information we hold about them. To obtain such information a request in writing is required.
Air Ambulance Promotions Ltd. reserves the right to update and amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
