Lions Club members raise £250,000 to support night flying

Yesterday we were delighted to welcome members of Lions Clubs International to our Redhill base for a tour of the aircraft and a presentation by our Director of Operations, Leigh Curtis, about the incredible impact of operating our service at night.

In 2012, the Lions pledged to raise £250,000 to help us become the first 24 hour HEMS in the UK, and it took them just under 5 years to reach this amazing figure - originally predicted to be 10.

With part of this money, we were able to purchase two fast response vehicles to support the night operation, ensuring our enhanced care team can reach patients who need us throughout the night.

Thank you so much for your continued support!
