People we've helped

We are always grateful to hear from our patients about the positive work we do in the community. It is heart-warming to know that we were there when we were needed most. Last year our Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) attended over 2000 missions, saving the lives of many, who live, work or travel in the counties.

If you are a former patient and you are willing to share your experiences, we would love to meet up with you, speak to you on the telephone or introduce you to our life-saving crew, maybe even those who were on duty the day of your accident/medical emergency, and perhaps add your story below then please contact us on 01622 833833. We would love to meet you.

Experiences from former patients really do help raise awareness of the charity and raise much-needed funds but they are only ever used in full agreement and with the authorisation of the patient who is always given sight of them before publication or online use. Please do not feel that you are under any obligation to do this as some former patients do not feel comfortable talking about it. We will of course totally respect your wishes.
